Career Development

My interest in coaching began in the autumn of 2019 when I studied for and completed Relational Dynamics’ accredited coaching course. RD1st specialise in providing coaching and leadership training for individuals and organisations working in the creative, cultural and non-profit sectors.

Keen to pursue this interest further and to turn my wonderings about career development and change into action, I studied full-time at Canterbury Christ Church University for a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Development with QCD which I achieved with Distinction. While in the process of qualifying as a Registered Career Development Professional, I took on a coaching role at the University of East London supporting Degree Apprentices in the health sector and was accepted into the British Association of CV Writers. In 2024, I started working as a Careers Advisor with a focus on supporting students with SEND at a sixth form college in south-east London. It is an absolute privilege working with the young people who come to meet with me to discuss their next steps and future ideas and goals.

I also blog about careers among a constellation of connected topics such as calling and purpose on my ‘I Know Where I’m Going’ Substack page.
